These folders contain replication material for

"The Evolution of Health over the Life Cycle" by

To generate the summary tables and figures in Sections 2 and 3 follow the instructions in the README file in Figures_and_SummaryTables_in_Sections2and3.

To generate the regression results in Sections 2 and 3 follow the instructions in the README file in RegressionResults_Section2and3.

To generate the figures and tables in Section 4 follow the instructions in the README file in Figures_and_Tables_Section4.

The codes provided were created using Matlab R2019b and Stata MP 15.1 on Ubuntu 16.04.  Runtimes for the various Stata and Matlab codes are provided in the README files in the three subfolders.

The datasetes provided were constructed using PSID, MEPS, and HRS data. Code and instructions for recreating each of these datasets from raw microdata are available in the Datasets folder.
