Data and Programs Guide


1. Files

* Data ? ?data_red? (Text and EViews files); explanations in ?data series? Word file
* Data sources and definitions ? Appendix B in ?RED_appendices? (PDF file)
* GMM programs  -- Gauss GMM files (*.dat files; see below) and data files for Gauss (*.txt files; see below)
* Computation programs ? Gretl files (*.inp; see below) using the data_red.wf1 EViews file; need to be in the same directory 
* Beveridge curves figures ? Matlab file (bev2.m; see below) and Excel file (bev.xls); need to be in the same directory 


Each program needs to run a few seconds up to a minute or so.
