HOW TO GENERATE THE FIGURES
This describes how to use the codes to produce graph and figures in the paper

1. MODEL FIGURES

Run the MainRED.m program
This call the file REDPlots.m 

The different figures are generated by choosing the different options

Option ‘Base’ generates 
Figure 2 (p 22), Figures 3 (p 23), Figures 4A and 4C (page 26), and Figure A1 (page 43)
Option `Slack' generates Figure 4B
Option `LowEffort' generates Figure 4C
Option ’HighEffort’generates Figure 4D

2. DATA FIGURES and Tables


Figure 1 (page 4 ) is obtained directly from the file `MaxBenefit_by_state.pdf’		

Figure 5 and Table 5 (page 30)	Run file `Figure5_Table5.m’ 
The file  `Figure5_Table5.m’ call the function `lscatter’ and uses the data file `data_REDpaper.xls’		
The file `data_REDpaper.xls’ hence contains all data used in the paper.
In turn this data, as explained in the excel file, is obtained by two online sources:
