Program code for "Effects of Economic Development in China on Skill-Biased Technical Change in the US" by Chu, Cozzi, and Furukawa.

Description: 

The program uses Solver in Excel to calibrate the paramter values in Table 1 and perform comparative statics in Tables 2 and 3.

In each of the three spreadsheets, results are presented for each value of epsilon = {2, 2.1, 2.2}. 

Under each value of epsilon, the other parameter values are calibrated to match empirical moments, and the percent changes in the skill premium are computed under different comparative statics exercises.
