This file describes the GAUSS programs and data used in “Understanding the Effects of Technology Shocks” by Wang and Wen (RED).
Figure1.gss,  Figure1_1.gss, Figure2.gss are used to generates impulse responses of data and error bands in Fig1 – Fig3, and Fig5 in the paper.
Fig4.gss is used to generate Fig4 in the paper.
Impulse responses of the models are generated by programs fig7.gss, fig10.gss, and fig11.gss.
All data files are named with extension .txt and they are called by the above programs.

Note: To generate data's impulse responses, the readers need to select data names inside the programs.
