This directory contains the original data, constructed data, and full documentation for "Are Shocks to the Terms of Trade Shocks to Productivity?" 
by Timothy J. Kehoe and Kim J. Ruhl. 

The directory contains the following files:

1.  TermsOfTradeDataAppendixApr08.xls: a spreadsheet that contains the original data and the constructed data series.

2.  TermsOfTradeDataAppendixApr08.pdf: a file that documents the source of each original data series and the construction of the derived data series.

3.  fig1&2&9Apr08.xls: a spreadsheet in which the data used in figures 1, 2, and 9 are constructed.

4.  fig3&4Apr08.xls: a spreadsheet in which the data used in figures 1, 2, and 9 are constructed.

5.  fig5-8Apr08.xls: a spreadsheet in which the data used in figures 5 through 8 are constructed.

6.  table1.xls: a spreadsheet in which the data used in table 1 are constructed.

7.  mexicoUNdata.xls: a spreadsheet in which the data used in Section 3.2 are constructed.
